About Piedmont Roofing Services

Every day, insurance companies are doing what they can to underpay policy holders, displaying corruption at its finest. Ronald Pierce, the owner of Piedmont Roofing Services, has spent years serving consumers with disaster restoration services, and he has seen the underhanded behavior of insurance companies.

He brings his knowledge of insurance law to his customers. More importantly, he stands with his clients as they battle their insurance companies.

About Ronald Pierce

After Hurricane Florence destroyed homes throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, Mr. Pierce was there to guide his clients through the process of dealing with insurance companies, many of which attempted to underpay on claims.

Mr. Pierce has also taken an active stand against insurance companies. After being falsely charged and arrested for standing up to the North Carolina Department of Insurance, he wrote a scathing indictment against the insurance companies, called Pissed Off, explaining how the little guy is swindled and misled to protect large corporations.

In late 2018, he announced his decision to run for Commissioner of Insurance for the State of North Carolina in 2020. Unlike his predecessor, he will hold insurance companies accountable for their criminal behavior, and he will ensure proper oversight of the North Carolina Department of Insurance.

Let Us Handle the Insurance Companies

The average homeowner doesn’t have the necessary knowledge of insurance laws to make sure they are paid fairly, but that’s where we come in. Piedmont Roofing Services can assist with an assignment of insurance to fight directly with the insurance company for the payment you deserve. An assignment of insurance legally transfers your claim to your insurance payment for covered damage to us. This not only saves you time and hassle – as the insurance company will pay us directly for the work we do – it also allows us to advocate on your behalf. We will communicate with you and the insurance adjuster to make sure your insurance company is held accountable for any underpayment or non-payment. You can learn more about the assignment of insurance process here.
Three cases exemplify the need for an assignment of insurance. The first case is a lawsuit from South Dakota. An insurance company hid benefits from a client to avoid paying out a $1 million policy from a car accident. The case of Alexander vs. Nationwide is another prime example, a case in which Nationwide Insurance hadn’t correctly paid certain overhead costs since 1996. Or consider the fact that Allstate was found to have paid out around 40% to 50% less than they should have.

Piedmont Roofing Services is here to help educate you on these matters, and we will work with your insurance company to make sure they operate according to insurance laws. Learn more here, and call us so that we can advocate for you following a disaster.
